Journalism 3250: Copy Editing

The goal of this course is to make you a proficient copy editor. These skills can be easily transferred to editing assignments in newspaper journalism, on websites, in magazines and other publications, in broadcasting, and in public relations. We will focus mostly on newspaper journalism. If your career goal is to be a writer, the course should help you do a better job of revising your own copy.
